Work At Home Pharmacists

How common is it for police officers to work second jobs (volunteer coaching)?
I used to have a track coach who was a police officer and I wonder how he did it. Did he have to work night or early morning shifts? I always thought that was cool that he could do that. He still does that and he must be in his late 50s.
I’ve thought about being a police officer or a firefighter or a teacher. It would be cool if I could coach track and climb mountains in the summer (a climb being two or three days). Is teaching the best profession for that schedule-wise? For some reason I think teaching would be the hardest of these jobs.
At one time I thought I wanted to do accounting in the big city where I went to school but I really feel at home in my home city. I’m 24, I have a BA and I’ve taken all kinds of classes. I’ve thought about being a pharmacist but I don’t know how I’d like that (I sort of can’t concentrate with classes anymore) and I also feel like starting a real job right now and maybe volunteer coaching.
Usually worked a 10-4 shift and had time off to do coaching or assistant to a coach stuff with kids in community.
