Work At Home Nurse

How should I bring my eight week old bunnies to the nursing home I work at for the residents to see?
I work at a nursing home and this april 8th I am bringing what will be are eight week old bunnies to visit the residents at my work. I’ve never brought any animals to my work before and just thought I would come on here and ask for some ideas on how I should do this. I already have the date set up with the activites director and that is all set but I have yet to think of how i’m going to bring them in, let them hold them, where to put them, should I get a big tub and just put them in there and let them all stare at it???? lol all i know is that they will all be in one big room circled around me, the guy with the “tub” of bunnies! WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring them in a suitable carrier. A hard sided cat one will work, I like ones that open on the top.
If you have one, bring a puppy pen or something similar. Put the bunnies in the pen when they are not being held. Bring something to cover the floor and a small container for hay and a bowl for water. Keep the carrier open and in the pen.
Don’t let the rabbits be held for too long at a time. Alternate the rabbits on who is in the pen and who is being held.
Try to be in a room that is enclosed and keep the doors closed. If a rabbit get lose, it will be easier to catch if it can’t go too far.
Young rabbits may stress easily, so keep an eye on them and give them lots of breaks.
I would have some pillows or something for the rabbits to sit on while visiting.
You should be to one who handles the rabbits. I would assume that you know how to handle bunnies while other people may not. You should take the rabbit to the people. They can look at the rabbits in the pen, but shouldn’t touch them until you bring one to them.
