Any good at home lightening kits that work?

I’ve been getting my hair lightened really blonde at the salon but it’s costing a fortune and I just can’t believe that someway, somehow it can’t be done at home! I have medium brown hair naturally and want to know what products anyone has tried that actually work…what about Clairol Born Blonde Maxi? and then do you need a toner on top of that? Please don’t say you don’ t know or to go back to the salon…I just want real answers, thank you

L’Oreal Feria Bleach Blonding works. It’s just a regular hair dye box. You dont need a toner if you get the kind that says cool on it, and not warm. Maybe try the Ash blonde, as it is a cooler tone, and wont turn your hair red.
