Do you think this would be sweet?

Ok, my boyfriend and I, who are going to be having a baby in January, love each other very much, but we also havent been getting along all that well lately. We’ve both just been really stressed out. He has this saturday off, and i wanted to do something sweet for him, and do something just the two of us. Im going to call, and make reservations for a hotel at the beach, and on friday, pick him up from work, with a bag packed (and not tell him whats going on), drive the two hours to the beach, stay the night and then spend all day saturday at the beach. Do you think this would be a nice thing to do? I figured I could book it tonight, and then when he comes home from work, tell him not to make any plans for friday and saturday….
i might even add in a really nice dinner saturday night before we head home, and maybe even a bouquet of flowers when I pick him up from work… i know usually guys dont get flowers, but i thought it would set the mood.

make sure he doesnt have any plans first then book away.. this is a great idea veryy sweet =) congrats
