What specifications are best for video editing on a macbook pro?

It looks like the macbook pro is the best laptop for video editing. I just want to know how big the hard drive should be, how much memory etc… Also, I use Final Cut Pro at school, but i dont have enough money to buy it for myself, so is Final Cut Express similar enough where I would be able to bring school projects home to work on with Final cut Express?

4gb of ram is adequate, as for the hard drive 500gb + if the vids are of any real size – final cut express has more than enough features for most of us, you just need to make sure you dont use any features in only in pro and then try to use in express, but it should work fine.
