Pharmacist Work At Home Positions

Do nursing homes have a pharmacy tech?
Hi I have an interview in a few days at CVS for a Pharmacy Tech position (I live in Oklahoma). I was reading online that pharmacy techs that work in drug stores pay the least compared to hospitals and such. Well I was wondering if nursing homes have pharmacy techs? My dad is in a nursing home and I know there is always someone pushing around the medicine cart distributing meds to residents… but are they pharmacy techs or actual pharmacists? I think after a year or so experience I would like to work in a nursing home as a pharmacy tech because I love to visit with the elderly people and see how happy it makes them to talk to somebody. So do the nursing homes have the TECH position or is it only an actual PHARMACIST? Thanks!!!
the people pushing the meds around to patients are nurses. some nursing homes have pharmacists working in them—usually those are larger ones that have their own pharmacies in house. so, yes, where there’s a pharmacy, they would need pharmacy techs!
