‘How does the “fuel refill” thing work for the vehicles in farmville?

Hi, I have a question about the Facebook application, Farmville. When you buy a tractor/seeder/harvester, you can buy fuel with Farmville dollars, but it says ____ amount of money for ____ amount of fuel refills. Does that mean everyday you get that amount of fuel refills, or you use up the amount you paid for once, and you have no more? Because it seems dumb that it is so hard to get Farmville dollars, and then you use them all up for one thing of fuel. I just want to make sure though.
