Can you make good money in real estate when you first start out?

I’m interested in becoming a realtor because I love to interact with people and I have a real passion for style and architecture. Any suggestions for getting started in the field from successful salespeople?

I made a lot of money my first year with no previous experience. To be successful, you need to have a positive attitude, be able to adapt to different personalities, grow a thick skin and be extremely knowledgable in all aspects of real estate, not just how to buy and sell. For example, when I talk to a person about their situation, I can usually find 5 different ways to solve their needs and issues. Read every book possible about real estate investing, real estate marketing and real estate law. Another thing to look out for is that you’re going to come across a lot of greedy phony people, it is very important that you keep your integrity and truly look out for your client’s interest, even if it means that you will profit less.
