Is google adsense good? can we make good money if we have a proper website?

i just want to know is anybody of you really making money out of google adsense? and how much per month?
How shall i promote my website if it is true so?

There are 3 major factors that determine how much you will make with adsense: How many visitors you get, how often they click, and what kind of content your site is about.

Kind of obvious, I know. But web sites can vary so much in these 3 areas! Honestly, last year my best website received about 8,000 hits. It got about $15 worth of Google Adsense clicks. (Not enough for me to get a check, but still – I am closer than I was at the beginning of last year!)

It would make sense to think that if I had chosen a more popular subject for my website and got 800,000 hits – I might have made $1500 last year. But there’s no guarantee that I would have still had a 1% click through rate with 800,000 hits or that the ads on my page would have been worth as much.

Anyhow, it is possible to make good money if you have a proper website. How to promote it is tricky. No matter what, the first thing you need to do is make sure your content is unique and useful. If your site is unique enough and on a subject that people are looking for, the search engines might take care of most of the promoting for you! If not, there are always the options of paying for ad space on other websites, putting ads in news papers, paying for Google Adwords, and word of mouth. But most of those can be rather expensive without a good return on investment.
