making money by taking surveys true or false?

i came across a website called survey scout it claims that you can make money by taking quick surveys about random stuff i want to hear from people that have used this service or knows someone that has sit worth it to putout the 35 bucks for the software how much do you really make from it and most importantly are there any financial risks

~~Do not pay any company to do surveys, they are a scam. There are legitimate sites which will pay you or give you points which you can turn in for merchandise or gift cards.

I have a few I have done surveys for years with. I can honestly tell you, you won;t make much money. With one company I make enough to pay for all my make-up because I turn in points for gift cards.Another, gives me points and I get one or two nice things a year for my home. like small kitchen apppliances, an ear thermometer, some earrings, etc.

They do not really pay much and you have to do allot of surveys to get anything. I did one company for over a year and received an $80 check and still had $20 left, so it gives you an idea of how small the pay is.

If you don’t mind doing them, just to get stuff once in a while, they’re fun. I get to sample and survey allot of products also, but it took over three years before they started offering me these things.

If you really need extra income, they aren’t gonna work for you. Not one of the companies ever charged me a dime. Legitimate ones will not. So I would not do the one you mentioned.~~
