There are many real ways to make money from home without falling victim to scams. While there are many real ways to make money from home, there are many scams out there too. The question is how do you differentiate, between a well crafted scam and a business opportunity that is real and legitimate?

In a legitimate business, there should and must be a product that you personally need or use. If that be the case, then you should know that others will likely purchase or use that products. For example, I needed a website, so my desire as I searched, was to look for a company that will pay me if I promote their product on domain registration and hosting.

Once I found the company, I registered my domain name and then I started promoting the company and the product. Because I needed to register a domain, whether it was a business or not, many others too will equally register domains and hosting either for the business opportunity or just to use the product. So in this case, you will avoid falling into the fly by night business opportunities with fake products.

Once you select your product and find the right company, then you are to do these three things that will help you from falling into the hands of a scam artists.

• 1. Focus on your business. Don’t let any other offer distract you, not from your email or even your sponsor. Sometimes, you will have sponsors offering new launch and the rest. My advice don’t fall for it. Focus on your business, until you start making profit. If anyone tells you it is very easy, run away. It is not easy, but you can do it, if you persist.
• 2. Learn all the ways to effectively market online and then focus on one that you feel comfortable with, or one you can really master well. There are many ways to market online. Article marketing is one, pay per click advertising, if you have to money upfront to invest into your business. But this too your have to master. Social marketing, Video marketing, free classified ads. Blog advertising. My point is become a master of one and then expand your advertising real estate.
• Repeat 1 and 2. That’s it.
  That is all there is. Absolute focus is what will enable you to build a long term residual income.  Don’t jump from one company after another. You will only be frustrated.
