How do I get QuickBooks experience?

I have an accounting degree and recently relocated to Texas. My previous position was in a very specialized government position. I would like to do accounting work at home for businesses, but I need QuickBooks experience. I took one online class, but want to have more practical experience, since I do not have experience using the software. Suggestions?

The cost is $449 and includes 2009 Quickbooks accounting edition, quickbooks enhanced payroll, quickbooks online plus and enterprise. Also on Amazon look for a book written by Michelle Long “Successful Quickbooks Consulting” This book is full of information on how to open a business working with Quickbooks. If you are not getting a CPA license at the moment, look at AIPB.org and NACPB.org. These are two organizations have information to help you with bookkeeping. I also recommend becoming an enrolled agent. You will be able to charge more if you decide to do taxes.
