Any way to get free driving lessons in GA?
I am currently 24 and have never drove because I lived in a major city where it wasn’t required. Being 24, I am beyond the age of getting high school driver’s ed. I have tried to get family and friends to help but none of them have come through. I have no access to a car, no money to pay for driving lessons, and my parents don’t drive either, because like me, they lived in a major city where it wasn’t required. Because I didn’t take driver’s ed in highschool does that mean I’m doomed to pay $500-$2500 on driving lessons or is there another way?
Ok, I already know I can get lessons from friends neighbors and relatives, the problem is I have already tried this, and no one is willing to help and/or too busy to help. I am lookingg for some sort of service or program since I have no access whatsoever to a car right now. Friends, family, and neighbors are not an option. Is there anything that would be cheaper than driving schools or at least cheaper than $50+ an hour.
What is your definition of free drving lesson? Anyone can give you a “free” driving lesson. Your Dad, neighbors, friends.
If you meant “free” driving lesson class, some public schools offer this lesson, of course public = free. here in texas at least, there is no such a thing after 1980′s.
What I reconmend is to download an on-line course. They are not free but free of hastles. Then, you will need to get a driving lesson, one hour a day, from a relative and of course, for free.
